Butt Glue

Although I think some things should be kept private, I couldn’t help but share my latest troubles. For the past few days I have been suffering from diaper rash. My mom has been diligently applying the white stuff, with no improvement. So I asked my buddy Griffin, from Waddle n Swaddle, and he swears by Earth Mama Angel Baby Bottom Balm. It is an all natural, organic, certified vegan, cruelty-free, and clinically tested super balm that will heal your rash in no time! (Mama has nicknamed it ‘butt glue’. Without it, I seem to fall apart!) After using it for only 24 hours, I not only am cured of my red butt, but my diaper smells nice (well … until I fill it up again!).

Did you know?:  Angel Baby Bottom Balm is great for minor first aid!  Works great on dry skin, too!

Eat in Peace

Sometimes I just want to have a little milk without any distractions. Is that too much to ask?

Mama has found an easy solution, the Bebe au Lait nursing cover.  It is a soft cotton ‘apron’ that Mama puts on over her head to shield me from the world.   This privacy helps me concentrate on enjoying my milk!  One feature I have to note is the rigid neckline, which makes it possible for me to see Mama while I nurse.  Who could ask for anything more?!

This must have nursing accessory comes in wonderful, Mama approved, patterns.  And every one is machine washable (so Mama never gets mad when I spit up on it or try to eat it)!   So make sure this is in every nursling’s diaper bag!

Tip from the pro:  Mama has two of them, one is always in the diaper bag and the other is in the car.  That way no matter where we are,  she can always keep me focused on my MILK!!!   **** And use the terry cloth corner pocket to hold your nipple butter!!!

Snot Sucker

Inspection of the NoseFrida

Mama has decided recently that her current form of boogie extraction (a.k.a. torture)  is not up to her standards.  So she has purchased the NoseFrida, a funny looking contraption made in Sweden.  What makes it so special?  It has things long tube that, when sucked, extracts the boogies from my nose.  It sounds weird, and it kinda is, but it works.  Mama reassures me that she cannot suck too hard, pull my brains out or hurt me in any way.   My nose is then clear for whatever foreign object I want to put up there next. I just have one question, if my nose is meant to be free of boogies, why does Mama call it a snot box?

A Note From Mama:   Although I was skeptical of the snot sucker, I have recently grown to love it.  It is super easy to clean (use a bottle brush) and seems to get the job done.  Do I think it is for everyone? No. (My husband will watch me do it, but is too grossed out to do it himself.)  Would I say it was satisfying? No, but I would call it gratifying!  Do I think it is worth a try during cold and flu season?  YOU BET!!!
